Grief Support Group

St. John’s is exploring the idea of starting a grief support group. Many have experienced the loss of someone close to them, dealing with the feelings and situation is sometimes very difficult. If you would be interested in joining this group, please contact the church office, Cindy Powlus, or Loreen Comstock. We anticipate that this group will be very informal and a chance for everyone to share.

UPDATE: The grief support group has decided to meet every other month. The decision was made to make this a very informal group to talk about any issues that group members might have. The next meeting will be Wednesday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. Everyone who has experienced grief at any time, please feel free to attend the meeting.

Service Hour Change and Additional Service

Youth Fellowship Time

We have begun our Youth Fellowship time.  It is so great to see everyone again and share in God’s Word.  The first two weeks have gone will with our new time change and it has been exciting to actually be a part of the church service.  We will continue to use the Lectionary Lessons as our teachings to coincide with the worship time. Thank you for all who have participated and the families for allowing us to spend time with your children.

Reminder:  We meet in the basement at 9:00 am and at this time we are usually finished around 9:45 am and your children can be picked up in the gathering area at the new 5th Street entrance door.
